FRANCIS E. CORBETT

Francis E. Corbett was born in Pittsburgh, Pa. on January 8, 1957. He graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1975 and received his Undergraduate Degree in Philosophy/Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh in 1979. Francis E. Corbett received his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1982 where he was a member of the Order of Barristers.

Francis E. Corbett has been representing debtors with financial problems since he was admitted to the practice of law in 1982. Francis E. Corbett enjoys an unparalleled reputation among his bankruptcy colleagues and Judges for his ethical, aggressive and zealous representation of debtors experiencing financial problems. He has saved countless homes for countless clients over the last eighteen years with his skillful representation.

Francis E. Corbett is currently a council member of the Allegheny County Bar Association's Bankruptcy and Commercial Law Section and a former chairperson of the Debtor's Bar for Western Pennsylvania. He is a frequent speaker and faculty member at Bankruptcy Seminars for other lawyers.

During Francis E. Corbett's career, he has also gained valuable experience in real estate matters, tax issues and litigation, criminal law, domestic relations law, personal injury cases, Social Security Administration issues and worker's compensation matters.

Francis E. Corbett has represented over 5,000 debtors in consumer, business, and individual cases in Chapter 7 (liquidations); Chapter 11 (business reorganizations); Chapter 13 (personal reorganization). Francis E. Corbett has probably more experience in Chapter 12 (family farmer reorganization) than any other debtor lawyer in Western Pennsylvania. He surely has the experience to help you.
