J. CRAIG BRUNGO
J. Craig Brungo was born June 5, 1961, in Milwaukee, WI. He received his undergraduate degree in Psychology at Duquesne University while carrying a double minor in Business Management/Finance and Sociology. After spending some time in the finance field, Attorney Brungo returned to Duquesne University to receive his law degree.
J. Craig Brungo spent six years working for an insurance defense firm. During this time, he was heavily involved in insurance litigation as lead defense counsel. He also practiced in various areas of the law including environmental and hazardous materials cases. He subsequently spent two years at another bankruptcy firm doing a high volume of Chapter 7 bankruptcies before becoming an Associate Attorney at Calaiaro & Corbett, P.C.
Attorney Brungo has handled hundreds of bankruptcy cases including Chapter 7 (liquidations), Chapter 11 (business reorganizations), and Chapter 13 (individual reorganization) cases. He also handles various types of litigation in the Bankruptcy Court as well as tax litigation with the Internal Revenue Service and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. J.
